it is all seeing and seeing-----what, how, how much, where, why , from where to where and so on till one gets the right complete picture .

1 child is in union with mother, and so drenched in her love ,and mother too, vice versa

so both are in surrender to each other, 

mother commands child just obeys

child commands , mother just obeys

2 as long as  this unity prevails, wonderful things happen between them love flowing to and from 

as child slowly grows up to know the world, a gentle growth of separation starts happening, as child innocently gaining his individuality, , and at times starts asserting his wishes, 

as growth take place, love tapers, surrender vanishes , troubles crop up, paradise lost  

so the solution is again is to gain back that unity , with mother, ie the creator god, 

in samadhi total surrender happens , and  paradise regained

man and god in love with each other, and each in surrender to other

god surrenders to the devotee

yatheenam brahma bhavathi sarathi, ......,, god is bhaktha paraadheena 

key is the union

   Surrender to ?? 

1….in the union, there is no duality, so question of surrender will not arise 

2….in the duality, one does not know to whom one has to surrender , so surrender cannot not take place 

3…..surrender to happen , one must establish the connection to that entity to whom one intends to surrender ………..connection is not same as union, connection is  just a familiarity, a working relationship, in which communication happens both ways , both knowing each other , and their relationship / protocol

Without that connection, any amount of sending message of surrender will not reach the receiver, and that kind of surrender will not work. It remains a cry in the wilderness

Most prayers remain unanswered, since the connection is not there, and prayer will not reach the receiver 

but receiver is eagerly waiting, ready to answer

   social networking, 

net browsing can be a distraction,

should be a help  

not substitute for sadhana 

time is precious , 

life is limited, 

keep eye on roi  

save time , 

save life ,

however such leads/ suggestions may click that rare experiences in a few lucky receivers

and they reach the source of that mystery within , like the givers inner source

some writings take one to their own inner depths

for some others it's just a casual reading

In various matters of life there remains a combination of science and art

----since, human personality is a total package

consisting of all the infinite components,

each individual is a scientist, an artist, a seer, a poet , a dancer, a singer, a god, a devil, a dr jekil, a mr hide ---all coexisting , but some get activated , some remain dormant as per occasion, context, need, cause etc

Also for the same inputs, different individuals respond in different ways

for example, if one hears a song, a recitation of a poem, audience responds differently , some become fans, some just listen and forget

also, for the same inputs, the same individual responds differently depending on the situation/ internal or external conditions

for example if a movie is seen, first time it will be exciting , likable, but if seen again it may not be that appealing

And when a song is heard, an individual responds in multi-modes,

the scientist in him sees the sa re ga ma aspect of it and nodes at the precision displayed

the poet in him looks at the lyric/ the bhava /meaning and says wah

the mystique in him enjoys the song , forgetting the earthly plane for a while

the critic / the intellectual in him evaluates the song / rates/ classifies/ appraises

all these processes happen in a synthesized manner, some aspects dominating, some other aspects subdued

there will not be a situation when art alone is seen or science alone is appreciated,

it is a contextual mixed response

The scientist in us

after reaching the goal truth, [vedanta ] , ie sathyam

awakens the artist in us,

who starts creating sub-truths,ie ,the veda / vedic richas,

ie the retail packages of knowledge ,and contextual creations,

ie upanishads, upakhyanas, kaavyaas , ,udanthas, puranas,

prabandhas, epics, dramas, stories, novels, essays, literature,

sculpture, paintings,

,gods, temples, structures, customs, systems, traditions,

along with goodies, necessities, comforts luxuries

---all to bring heavenly existence on earth , in detail,

purposeful, useful, need based, result oriented,

creates a new civilization , obsoleting the worn out ,

updating the times to the present moment

peeped into the field of brahma sathyam ,

unifying the matter and energy with his equation E=m c squared

the artist tagore created master pieces, by stretching his existence beyond the visible, local, mundane

blessed are the scientists and artists, they did inherit the heavens

Science reveals truth, uncovering layer by layer progressively , it says ''pot is mud''

it removes all illusions, it frees

art hides truth, art is maya ,it says ''there is no mud, it is a beautiful, colorful , round pot ,, ''

in the charm of shape, size, color, texture, design, embellishment of the pot , the truth of mud is obscured/covered/

science says what is actual truth

art distorts , deshapes, flattens, enlarges, elongates, paints, and hides what is there actually

art shows some thing that is not there

it creates a illusion.

it deludes, lures, deceives, entices, enslaves, binds, limits in time space frame

    SAMVADA, VADA, JALPA & VITANDA

Samvada is the discussion between the teacher and the student. The teacher talks and the student listen.

The student can ask question to clarify doubts. The All our scriptures are written in the form of samvada.

The Bhagawad Geeta, as it says, is a Krisha - Arujana Samvada, a dialogue between the teacher, Krishna

and the student, Arjuna on Brahmavidya.

Vada is the discussion between equals to establish the truth / to resolve the conflict Both parties are

open minded, even though they are convinced that they are right, they are ready to listen and to accept the

opponents' version. Learning takes place at the end of even vada since the truth is established to the

satisfaction of both parties.

Jalpa is the discussion between the two who are also convinced that each one is right and the

opponent is wrong. Unlike in vada, the purpose is not to discover or establish the truth, but only to

convert the other party. The outcome of this whole jalpa is lot of noise. Even if it appears that one

has lost an argument, he will not accept it, instead he goes back to get some more materials or

concocts some other arguments only to establish he is right and other is wrong.

Vitanda is the discussion with the sole purpose of defeating the opponent. The arguments may

lead to establish that the opponent is not qualified to discuss. There is no leaning either or both of

them and also not worth listening.

The simplest type of Symmetry is "Reflection" (or "Mirror") Symmetry, the quality of being made up of exactly similar parts facing each other or around an axis. "this series has a line of symmetry through its center" synonyms: regularity, evenness, uniformity, consistency, conformity, correspondence, equality; correct or pleasing proportion of the parts of a thing. "an overall symmetry making the poem pleasant to the ear" 1. the correspondence in size, form, and arrangement of parts on opposite sides of a plane, line, or point; regularity of form or arrangement in terms of like, reciprocal, or corresponding parts. 2. the proper or due proportion of the parts of a body or whole to one another with regard to size and form; excellence of proportion. 3. beauty based on or characterized by such excellence o f proportion. 4. Mathematics . a. a geometrical or other regularity that is possessed by a mathematical object and is characterized by the operations that leave the object invariant: A circle has rotational symmetry and reflection symmetry. b. a rotation or translation of a plane figure that leaves the figure unchanged although its position may be altered. 5. Physics. a property of a physical system that is unaffected by certain mathematical transformations as, for example, the work done by gravity on an object, which is not affected by any change in the position from which the potential energy of the object is measured.
	super symmetry is a reality of absolute unmanifest which includes all possibilities including coexistence of symmetry and asymmetry in the manifest world absolute symmetry is impossible pranies have mirror symmetry, ie left side is a mirror view of right side but inside, lungs, heart, stomach asymmetrical so vakra thunda is a beauty though asymmetrical

     

standardisation vs creativity.

human  has two opposing levels of existence simultaneously.
1  non changing and
2  ever changing.
as non changing entity, he would like to standardize on a few, rather on one which can serve all needs at all times.

--so he may not choose to pick new from the infinite choices, leaving them as surplus.

as changing entity he likes to be always ever new in every aspect, so the birth of variety and fashion, once used, then thrown to pick other.

this is eternal ,his interests as per his 2 themes.

his choice, consciously cultivated or happening unconsciously , --is his definition of his personality.
while new leaves and new twigs are born and flourish, the tree still retains its outer bark, to dry and fall on its own, not shaking them off with self efforts.

just to balance, our tradition of giving alms to needy, disposes the olds creatively , overcoming the greed to retain for no purpose.
otherwise the nature's own mechanism of biological decay or insects worms bacteria.

variety some times is a time waster and distraction to ones purpose of living, dissipating in trifles and trivials.
hence, a dress code for spiritual, like sanyasi/brahmachari-----also in present times for students, factory workers, security and others.
finally, nothing is waste, and everything is waste too, as you dwell on things.

     

spirituality is essentially a cleaning process for human

 

as if it is a metallurgy, from raw ore, to pig iron, to steel, to steel parts,

as if it is derusting, degreasing, polishing, honing,

 

and render the mind body absolutely in the fittest possible condition

for the best usage

.

so maintain it by schedule, routine, daily weekly, monthly cleaning processes

 

with all kinds of appropriate spiritual techniques and processes, including pooja, vratha, fasting,

    Standardization in nature .

in creating the beings, nature has done standardization, 

we see a lot of common features in the basic structure of all living beings, including trees.

with hardware, [visible structure] 

and software [invisible inside} which governs its growth, sustenance and procreation

--in man , animals, insects, a body and mind,

 in trees a visible trunk, leaves etc and invisible internal system which gives the direction and energy to mobilize its life processes

a reproductive mechanism with organs

limbs to achieve required tasks

senses of perception and action

also,

 in detailing there is standardization like all have two eyes, one mouth , two ears,

but 

some flexibility also exists like some insects have 6 feet, 

depending on requirements even a deviation like a she dog has 4 pairs of breast to feed 4 at a time

however, newness is not overlooked, 

every entity has new form, though features are same

--no two men are alike, no two mango trees are alike, no two cows are alike

standardization and variety going hand in hand, 

--infinite variety yet features are standard

old and new existing without disharmony

----designs which are ancient are being created afresh with newness,

all nice doings by nature

Ya devi sarvabhuteshu mathru rupena samsthitha

Namasthasyayee namonamaha

    

Sky is the best costume, i like the most
not needing to search, nor to select ,
not to reject, nor to accept
not to bargain nor to gain
not to buy nor to sell
not to cut nor to stitch

 

Not to clean nor to wash
not to wet nor to dry
not to press, nor to mess
not to loose, nor to fuss

 

All other costumes are costly, scarce, 
scanty, superfluous , 
waste, worst
they wear, tear , burst, burn, 
soak, soil, 
no sanctity, less beauty, 
not plenty, less novelty
will not last, get cast

    

saints and philosophers are unique  
due to their degree of ability to see the truth of life / truth of god, 
and express their cognitions, and live a life of their choice uniquely 
according to their level of consciousness

but, the followers normally being at a different level cannot understand, they misunderstand and distort or narrow down, unwittingly, and assume that it is the thing that they said, and try to further pass it down , 
what happens in this process is the purity of teachings is lost, what remains is rituals and superficialities and forcing /imposing/ gaining acceptability by various means, including spiritual promises or incentives and material benefits in the worst case 
this has been going on and will ever goes on 
but, things will not be the same, all said and done results speak 
and disillusionment dawns .and it has to happen and will happen 
those who know things better would like to switch over to some thing better and better

Drooping abilities, tiredness, aging, sickness, death are due to various reasons, how one goes thru the life , inputs, and how intelligently one manages himself , also no less hereditary, and it's a individual 's order of priority , some treating it a light matter, some taking good care of themselves but everyone would like to lead a good life , this aspiration of man invariably gets exploited by everywhere. every and promises a heaven to promote sale . and some do succeed in netting in gullible customers. but nature's laws cannot be deceived , cause and effect none can escape"

good lessons from his thapasya, he gets inspired

bad lessons from his apahasya with menaka, he gets wiser 

if to fall, why to ride up

how vasanth has come to be a rishi , not a process of selecting a nick name,

it is a natural qualification earned after enough sadhana inputs .

not any one can put dr, as his name, unless he is mbbs

i am too small a person to question another person's qualifications or status ... i liked your post, but saw it in a lighter way ... 
as far as Vishwamitra goes, i do Naman to the person who gave the world the Gayatri Mantra in its present form ... everybody can learn from Vishwamitra & his struggles to become a Brahma Rishi ... even his 'affair' with Menaka had the good result of giving us King Bharat after whom our great country gets one of its names.
i am not a person who is learned in the Vedas or Shastras .. all that i know i have learnt from my Guru - Jagadguru Shankaracharya Shree Shree Raghaveshwara Bharati Swamiji of Shree Ramachandrapura Matha, Gokarna, Karnataka. when you say that you are inspired by me, i feel proud to belong to this country where the greatest of people have taught others that one can learn even from the smallest of people. so my Naman to you too for your humility.

On the destruction of a tribe the ancient virtue of the tribe and family is lost; with the loss of virtue, vice and impiety overwhelm the whole of a race. From the influence of impiety the females of a family grow vicious; and from women that are become vicious are born the spurious caste called Varna-Sankara. Corruption of caste is a gate of hell, both for these destroyers of a tribe and for those who survive; and their forefathers, being deprived of the ceremonies of cakes and water offered to their manes, sink into the infernal regions. By the crimes of the destroyers of a tribe and by those who cause confusion of caste, the family virtue and the virtue of a whole tribe are forever done away with; and we have read in sacred writ, O Krishna, that a sojourn in hell awaits those mortals whose generation hath lost its virtue.

1. The protection of the brāhmaṇas maintains the institution of varṇa and āśrama, the most scientific culture for attainment of spiritual life.
2. The protection of cows maintains the most miraculous form of food, i.e., milk for maintaining the finer tissues of the brain for understanding higher aims of life.
3. The protection of women maintains the chastity of society, by which we can get a good generation for peace, tranquillity and progress of life.
4. The protection of children gives the human form of life its best chance to prepare the way of liberty from material bondage. Such protection of children begins from the very day of begetting a child by the purificatory process of garbhādhāna-saṁskāra, the beginning of pure life.
5. The protection of the old men gives them a chance to prepare themselves for better life after death.
This complete outlook is based on factors leading to successful humanity as against the civilization of polished cats and dogs. The killing of the above-mentioned innocent creatures is totally forbidden because even by insulting them one loses one's duration of life. In the age of Kali they are not properly protected, and therefore the duration of life of the present generation has shortened considerably. In the Bhagavad-gītā it is stated that when the women become unchaste for want of proper protection, there are unwanted children called varṇa-saṅkara. To insult a chaste woman means to bring about disaster in the duration of life. Duḥśāsana, a brother of Duryodhana, insulted Draupadī, an ideal chaste lady, and therefore the miscreants died untimely. These are some of the stringent laws of the Lord mentioned above.

Varna-sankara population means a population who cannot say who is his father. That is varna-sankara. Or which caste does he belong, what is his father, what is his family. No, nothing, no information. That is called varna-sankara. So when the varna-sankara population increases, then the whole world becomes hell.

Consequently there are so many social ills occurring from such a situation as predicted in Bhagavad Gita (1:40-41) : 

adharmaabhibhavaat krshna 
pradushyanti kula-striyah 
strishu dushshaasu varshneya 
jaayate varna-sankarah 
sankaro narakaayaiva 
kula-ghnaanaam kulasya ca 
patanti pitaro hy eshaam 
lupta-pindodaka-kriyaah

"When irreligion is prominent in the family, O Krishna, the women of the family become polluted, and from the degradation of womanhood, O descendant of Vrishni, comes unwanted (inter-mixed) progeny."

"An increase of unwanted (inter-mixed) population certainly causes hellish life for both the family and for those who destroy the family tradition. The ancestors of such corrupt families fall down, because the performances for offering them food and water after death through ritual (pinda or shraddha) are entirely stopped."

varna-sankara-karakaih 
utsaadyante jaati-dharmaah 
kula-dharmaash ca shashvataah

"By the inappropriate deeds of those who destroy the family tradition and thus give rise to unwanted (intermixed) children, all kinds of community projects and family welfare activities are wasted
