bad lessons from his apahasya with menaka, he gets wiser 

if to fall, why to ride up

how vasanth has come to be a rishi , not a process of selecting a nick name,

it is a natural qualification earned after enough sadhana inputs .

i am too small a person to question another person's qualifications or status ... i liked your post, but saw it in a lighter way ... 

as far as Vishwamitra goes, i do Naman to the person who gave the world the Gayatri Mantra in its present form ... everybody can learn from Vishwamitra & his struggles to become a Brahma Rishi ... even his 'affair' with Menaka had the good result of giving us King Bharat after whom our great country gets one of its names.

i am not a person who is learned in the Vedas or Shastras .. all that i know i have learnt from my Guru - Jagadguru Shankaracharya Shree Shree Raghaveshwara Bharati Swamiji of Shree Ramachandrapura Matha, Gokarna, Karnataka. when you say that you are inspired by me, i feel proud to belong to this country where the greatest of people have taught others that one can learn even from the smallest of people. so my Naman to you too for your humility.

On the destruction of a tribe the ancient virtue of the tribe and family is lost; with the loss of virtue, vice and impiety overwhelm the whole of a race. From the influence of impiety the females of a family grow vicious; and from women that are become vicious are born the spurious caste called Varna-Sankara. Corruption of caste is a gate of hell, both for these destroyers of a tribe and for those who survive; and their forefathers, being deprived of the ceremonies of cakes and water offered to their manes, sink into the infernal regions. In the Bhagavad-gītā it is stated that when the women become unchaste for want of proper protection, there are unwanted children called varṇa-saṅkara. To insult a chaste woman means to bring about disaster in the duration of life. Duḥśāsana, a brother of Duryodhana, insulted Draupadī, an ideal chaste lady, and therefore the miscreants died untimely. These are some of the stringent laws of the Lord mentioned above.

Varna-sankara population means a population who cannot say who is his father. That is varna-sankara. Or which caste does he belong, what is his father, what is his family. No, nothing, no information. That is called varna-sankara. So when the varna-sankara population increases, then the whole world becomes hell.

  Some of best educated are worst cheats, 

cunning politicians, land grabbers, mafia leaders,

bribe takers, job sellers, selfish scamsters, 

black money stashers, blackmailers, 

experts in print fake currency, match fixers, 

rapists, murderers, exploiting female physiology 

creating obscene movies, paid journalists, 

all working for petty goals 

but with super skill, proficiency,knowledge . 

 swadharma is tolerance limits, 

each of us has capacity within limits 

cool weather ok, cool eater is ok extreme cold we cannot bear, ice we cannot touch

warmth ok, but hot sun is no comfort , fire burns 

eating a plate meal ok, two/three is not acceptable, 

fasting for a couple of days ok but fasting for a week/month makes us weak and die

 speech/a presentation /an oration should come extempore from heart

---with the right emphasis, with right pauses, with right gestures,

right looking into the faces , in the eyes of  the listeners /audience

scriptures lead one to jungle, without self realization, waste of time, with self realization , we go to the source of scritures, from where they have sprouted and blossomed in to the consciousness of great souleplydelete

And directly can be/ ----must be---- reawithout books,-----and come out with the same truths directly, and no surprise these truths cognized within find parallels with those expressed by great souls, and get the validation of the sadhana. if not only reading scriptures will lead to unending questions with variety of answers , not necessarily true or authentic from one and all originated from their level of knowledge/ignorance hence , lead to useless fights even  if not it may result in producing volumes of books based on the best surmises, quoting all kinds of messages, yet not giving the comprehensive grip on the subject replydelete

With the inner encyclopedia made available to the conscious awareness of the sadhak, thru meditation , he is soon becomes the master, gyaana moorthi, not reading a book, yet able to express the essence in few words .
